Visit with Us

Meetings:                   The Braddock Heights Historical Society holds its regular meeting on the 3rd Thursday of each month (unless otherwise announced) September-May at 7:30 p.m. to view the next meeting schedule click here

Location:                     The meetings are held at the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration on Maryland Avenue in Braddock Heights.

Programs:                   The programs offer a diverse array of historically oriented information that explores the Braddock are and the lifestyles over the years.

Special Events:          Special events such as the celebration of Our Heritage, annual ice cream social provide the opportunity to make the community aware of the Societies' goals and to increase memberships. To view the upcoming special events click here.

Closure:                       Meetings may be changed due to weather emergencies or the availability of a speaker, please check the Society's calendar for last minute changes. View meeting schedule click here

Accessibility:              The Society welcomes visitors with physical limitations. While the Episcopal Church of the transfiguration was not designed for easy access to the meeting room , the Society will do everything to accommodate all patrons. We ask that persons requiring assistance  contact us in advance of their visit in order to ensure the best service. Please email the Society's President at president @braddockhistory.org   

Membership:               Join the Braddock Heights Historical Society today by completing the  membership form and mailing it to the Society. You will receive your membership card, special invitations and other valuable information by mail.

Donations:                   The obligation to full fill the mission of the Braddock heights Historical Society is never ending. in order to have a successful Society, research, programs and special events, the membership fees do not cover the entire cost. The Society does not  receive any county, state or federal funding. Donations can be made to the Society  via the mail .
