| The Society
The Braddock Heights Historical Society was founded in February 2003 by a small group of community members. Their main focus and ideas was to record and preserve the past history, because, they feared that if they did not act, the history would be lost. The mandate of the charter members remains the purpose of the society today: To preserve and research the history of the landmarks, structures, historic areas and memorabilia. The society will strive to develop educational programs and information relating to the Braddock Heights area. this may help to establish or illustrate the history of the area to new residents, members of the Society, and to visitors.
